We have already made the body of the series, but...

Hello everyone.

Without further ado, today I would like to introduce to you some of Kita's personal belongings, a self-proclaimed ``brushing demon.''

I like maintenance of leather products,

Brushing is especially essential.

It is said that 60% of leather maintenance can be completed by brushing.

It's very important, but there are many different types.

What I would like to introduce today is a brush that specializes in one thing.

First of all, please look at the image.

At first glance, it looks like a normal brush with a handle, but there are some things mixed in on the brush part.

When you zoom in...

↑It's hard to tell, but brass wire is actually mixed in.

This brush is specialized for nubuck and suede.

I still remember the excitement I felt when I used it for the first time.

The leather surface is so comfortable that you might think it's a dry landscape painting.

If you look at the finished product, you'll be able to enjoy it as a side dish with alcohol.

As an aside, nubuck is mainly made by buffing the silver side (front) of cowhide.

Suede is mainly made by buffing the floor (back) of pigskin.

I apologized for preaching to Buddha.

I don't own any suede items and don't need them at the moment.

There is a brush specifically for suede with rubber folds called a crepe brush.

I would like to have one in my collection someday (lol)

Now, there is no right answer to leather maintenance, but if you want to make it last longer.

Brushing is recommended!

Next time, we will introduce brushes specialized for different purposes.

Working on maintenance on your days off is a bad idea.

Well then, good day.
