Nadi Kosuge's Kadoya Leather Practice Report
"SS STRIKER-PL"
I've told you before that Nandi loves Kadoya's punching leather jacket "PLJ-PTD", but this time I'm wearing the "SS STRIKER-PL". It is a perforated leather jacket model, and it also has unique specifications, so I would like you to see it.
Summer touring, of course, is also good for everyday use due to its simple design. If you are Kadoyamania, it will be easy to imagine that this will be the successor to "SLECT SVEEVER-PL".
While the basic design follows the previous model, the material and pattern design have been upgraded.
The most distinctive feature of the series is the use of detachable sleeves. The sleeves can be easily removed by simply pulling the zipper.
When I get off the bike and wander around in the midsummer, it is convenient to wear short sleeves, so having this mechanism is quite convenient.
Removal and installation work is very smooth. It would be a place like Kadoya that comes out with accuracy around here.
This would not be possible with a cheap product, and if it takes time to put on and take off, there would be no point in such a mechanism.
It goes without saying that the lighter you are, the easier it will be to move. There are many voices wanting such a variable type jacket because you can enjoy it actively even when you get off the bike.
In addition, it is very important not to lose the sleeves if you remove them on the go.
Shoulders, elbows, spine pads, and chest guards are all attachable (sold separately). The feeling of security is definitely different when you put the pads in, and the split sleeves introduced earlier can be put on and taken off with the pads still in place. In addition, it would be best to choose one size larger than usual for those who are assuming to put a pad.
Like the shoulder and elbow pads, the spine pad is also a system that fits in the bag. It's a style that opens the bottom zipper and then inserts the spine pad upwards. When you wear it, it comes to a natural position, so there is no discomfort at all.
There are various types of spine pads, but in the case of a perforated mesh jacket like the SS STRIKER-PL, it is better to use a relatively thin type that also has perforated spine pads, considering ventilation.
By the way, Mr. Nandi is doing various races with Kadoya's racing suit RSI, and I compared the hole size with this punching.
I thought the holes would be bigger in the racing suit used on the circuit where you have to keep running beyond the limit even on the scorching asphalt...
Surprisingly, the SS STRIKER-PL had larger punched holes than the racing suit. I was strangely impressed, saying, "It's a model that specializes in summer specifications." The size of the hole is also considered Iloilo.
Now you can see that there is no reason why the SS STRIKER-PL is not cool! A perforated mesh leather jacket can be the most comfortable companion for summer motorcycles!
