Creating new value from scrap leather. Founded in 1935, a new story of scrap leather woven by the pride and soul of craftsmen

Leather goods made from leather scraps

Born in Asakusa, the techniques have been refined and are under strict quality control.

KADOYA began in 1935 as a small factory in Asakusa, Tokyo. Each leather jacket is carefully crafted by hand, using only the highest quality leather, carefully selected by leather craftsmen whose skills have been passed down through generations. It is not just clothing, but a "partner" that is nurtured over time, and a "proof of life" that is loved for a long time.

But there's another story in the world of thorough quality control.

Parts that cannot be made into leather jackets

At KADOYA's headquarters factory, where strict quality control is carried out, each piece of leather is carefully selected and only the highest quality parts are used to manufacture leather jackets.

Naturally, some leather will be used for leather jackets and some will be discarded. Previously, parts of leather that did not meet the standards were disposed of.

So the craftsmen asked themselves, "Is there any way we can breathe new life into this leather?" And from the moment this question was born, the story of the scrap leather began.

Craftsmen's thoughts on leather

The craftsmen's deep love for leather and their sense of waste were united in their aim to add new value to scrap leather.

In 2010, we launched the "KM Series" of leather accessories made from scraps of leather jackets.

Using the scraps of high-quality leather used in our leather jackets, we offer a lineup of affordable yet luxurious products.

New Leather Cushion

Leather cushions for adults that embody the garage style you've always dreamed of

The leather used is oiled vintage steer leather used in KADOYA's highest quality line, "HEAD FACTORY."

The asymmetrical design is accented with white stitching reminiscent of a biker wallet, giving it a wild and sophisticated impression.

Two sizes are available (30cm x 30cm and 45cm x 45cm) to suit your interior.

These cushions, which are designed with attention to both texture and design, will add a unique presence to your room.
