Development history of HFG/SHOULDER BAG

This shoulder bag was created by craftsmen at Kadoya's factory about 10 years ago.
Although it is an old story, we would like to introduce the history of product development that we would like to tell you about today.

At the time, there were doubts about the bag's development, and it was easy to see why.
Because our craftsmen are not only leather craftsmen, but also biker jacket craftsmen, we were told that we should focus more on jackets than leather bags.

Meanwhile, the development of the bag started.
It was decided from the beginning that it would be shaped like a shoulder bag. Although it depends on the vehicle type and speed range, we considered convenience for both moving and retrieving items.

The first prototype produced was a little smaller, but requests soon arose from various quarters. They said it was too small for a day trip. In addition, various opinions were expressed from within the company, regardless of department. A second prototype was completed reflecting those opinions.

The quality of the second prototype was high, and many employees thought they had created something that could not be better.
However, even though the product was about to be released, the craftsman who invented it ended up saying no.
That was the opinion of a craftsman who regularly sews custom-made jackets.

"The curved surface that touches the back can be made to more closely follow the human body."

As a result of continuing product development and sparing no effort to create better products, this shoulder bag has become Kadoya's signature product.
