HF-Deer LINE-UP MODEL
Hello, this is Harada.
This time, we will introduce the HF lineup model [HF-DEER SERIES].
I would like to talk about the development episode.
Deer leather is a material that is extremely soft and comfortable to the touch, and has a rich texture.
HF-DEER is a long-established tanner specializing in deerskin that has been in business for over 130 years.
This is Kadoya's original leather manufactured at Fujioka Yukichi's main store in Nara.
[HF-DEER SERIES]
・FLAT TRACK RACER
・EARLY SPRINTER
・EARLY SPRINTER MD-1
This time, we will introduce each model that has been well received since its release.
I would like to touch on the model concept and model name.
The most important thing in the planning and development that started with leather material in mind was
Rich in texture and high quality deerskin material
The goal was to make the customer feel it directly.
Leather has been made with firmness, firmness, thickness and strength for many years.
It was the mainstay of the Kadoya lineup.
We focus on the texture and develop models that will satisfy riders.
The hurdles were quite high and we were forced to struggle.
At that time, I came across a photo.
Late 1930s before World War II
It was a racer who was active on the flat track in Norwich, eastern England.
At that time, pads were already sewn on the shoulders and elbows of upper and lower leather wear.
It was a spartan specification, but
That player's JKT atmosphere
Inspired by the somewhat fluffy and soft impression of clothing.
Collecting materials on various race scenes in various countries from 1930 to 1960
I focused on the concept I was imagining.
Riders in photos before and after the war
Everyone was covered in dust, mud, and smoke.
Slide the vehicle on rough unpaved roads such as mountains, valleys, beaches, and lakes.
While maintaining balance with a thin and delicate frame and tires.
The way you keep the accelerator open is full of dynamism.
I couldn't help but feel a sense of romance in the bravery of the riders from the good old days.
Inspired by riders who were active at the dawn of motorcycle sports culture
each model name
We named it [EARLY SPRINTER] / [FLAT TRACK RACER].
Designed with a simple structure that brings out the texture of deerskin.
Like a tailored jacket
As unstructured as possible, without using interlining, lining, thick padding, etc.
We designed it so that you can wear it casually and casually.
[FLAT TRACK RACER]
As the name suggests, it is designed for rough roads such as off-road.
The front ZIP gets dirty or damaged due to splashing dirt or gravel.
To prevent movement from worsening,
With mobility in mind, it has a side zip pullover design.
[EARLY SPRINTER] is
Drag racing on paved roads (asphalt)
It was held at the Salt Flats in Bonnville, Utah, USA.
I imagined a rider who was participating in a maximum speed record competition.
It has a forward-leaning posture that hugs the gas tank and engine.
When his engine blew due to an accident during a competition and his body caught fire.
Imagine being able to take off your clothing immediately and avoid danger.
The front zip design makes this model easy to put on and take off.
[EARLY SPRINTER MD-1] is
Modifying EARLY SPRINTER as casual sportswear
Regular color, fully lined, and zip storage pockets on the left and right endpapers.
So that you can blend into the city without feeling out of place even when you get off your motorcycle
This model has a gentle atmosphere, is easy to wear, and is easy to use.
For both models, the number of parts is limited as much as possible in order to pursue lightness and ease of wear.
It has a very simple structure and visual structure, so
Coupled with the soft texture of deerskin, you won't get tired even when wearing it for a long time.
It is also a model that you can enjoy to the fullest as it changes over time after many years of use.
My personal FLAT TRACK RACER BROWN has been worn for several years.
From the shoulders to the back, the color fades moderately due to sunburn.
Depending on the amount of exercise, the leather will noticeably sag on the shoulders, elbows, armpits, and abdomen.
The degree of change over time is considerable.
I'm really looking forward to the further changes and changes that will come in the future.
