HF/AW-1VS
It hasn't been available in stores as a ready-made product for a while.
American Double Riders' AW-1VS arrived the other day.
I saw it in person and felt it was cool again.
This time, I would like to convey its charm to everyone.
■Double riders/American type
It has its roots in flight suits, and has since evolved through its association with motorcycles and rock culture.
It is characterized by a large collar, and since it has been around since the 1940s, it has a wide range of designs.
The epaulettes on both shoulders were originally used to secure equipment or attach rank insignia.
It was used for military uniforms. It makes your shoulders look stretched out, giving it a wild look.
■Vintage Star = “Dechromed/tannin mixed tanning”
Vintage Stair is KADOYA's unique name, and you can imagine the appearance.
It sounds like "the cowhide", but what is "dechromium/tannin mixed tanning"?
It's going to be a bit manic, but it's something you'll definitely want to know.
Dechroming : A manufacturing method in which the leather is tanned with chromium (chemicals) and then specially processed to remove chromium to the limit of its functionality.
Tannin tanning : One of the oldest tanning methods, it is extremely labor-intensive and time-consuming. By soaking the hide in tannin (plant astringent), proteins are removed and the hide is prevented from rotting.
By combining these manufacturing methods, we have succeeded in creating a good taste, texture, and familiarity, and making it more durable than regular leather.
As you can see by comparing this image with the image above, even the same leather can change so much over the years.
Vintage steers allow you to enjoy the changes over time to the fullest, and I feel that the term ``leather that grows'' applies to it.
We currently have AW-1VS [L×①/LL×①] in stock, so please pick it up and take a look♪
