commute tweet
I've been commuting to work at roughly the same times and along roughly the same route for years.
It's easy to get stuck in a rut and become desensitized, but every year around this time of year, when the cool air starts to flow, I'm once again keenly aware of how good it feels to ride a bike.
As you travel back and forth hundreds of times, the cityscape naturally changes little by little, and even if you notice it at the time, you quickly adapt to the new scenery and quickly forget what happened a while ago, which is a good thing. Or is it a bad thing?
I suddenly remembered a movie I saw a long time ago that centered around the interaction between the main character, an old man who runs a tobacco shop, and the customers who frequent the shop.
The old man's daily routine is to take just one photo in front of the store every morning.
Sometimes random passersby are reflected in it, and over the years, it has become a wonderful album, and the rest of the story is...
I don't remember it at all, but somehow the simple daily routine of that stubborn old man left an impression on me, and it remains vaguely in my memory.
An old man's daily routine is a spontaneous action, but on the other hand, if his daily routine is passive, it may be a waste not to enjoy the little things he feels during it.
The autumn breeze makes me feel that way.
While I was saying this, I arrived at Ueno Station.
Just a few minutes left to work.
I wonder if something will happen to my head factory, which has never changed but continues to move...
If you don't have fun, it's a loss, a loss...
Isn't it sweet? Let's do our best today too!
