ASTRO PARKA water resistance test!
This season's new ASTRO PARKA uses a moisture-permeable and waterproof outer material. This time I briefly tested its water resistance.
The method is simple, just fill a plastic bottle with water and pour as much water as you can.
(Using 2 x 500ml plastic bottles)
Water slides off the highly water-repellent fabric surface.
Sprinkle water on the waterproof zipper as well.
I finished pouring water all over.
Water droplets may remain on the surface of the fabric, but they will fall off if you brush them gently.
Check inside.
I don't see any flooding either.
As you can see, the water resistance performance is achieved by the outer fabric + PU processing with an initial water pressure resistance of 10,000mm and moisture permeability of 3,000g/㎡/24h.
Since the seams and other parts are not waterproofed, it is difficult to use them in rainy weather for long periods of time like rainwear, but being able to avoid getting drenched by sudden rain while touring will be a great advantage.
