The first thing a typical riding jacket needs is thickness and strength.
It is a solid construction that mainly follows European manufacturing and takes into consideration high-speed driving and falls while riding. However, while developing the product, I often find myself thinking, "Isn't this too heavy?"
Especially in the summer, when planning products while riding a motorbike every day in Tokyo where traffic jams are frequent, I feel like it's too hot to do.
In such a situation, although the strength is somewhat reduced,It's not too hot, it's comfortable to wear, and you can keep wearing it even after getting off the bike.thing.
With that in mind, we came up with this project.LITE AIR MESH SERIESis.
The fabric is from Toray.Dot Air®This is a special order from Weave, based on this material.
It is roughly half the weight of typical mesh fabric used in motorcycle wear.
It has also been processed to leave natural wrinkles.A rich texture unlike any other synthetic fiberIt also feels good on the skin,Fabric that doesn't stick to your skin even when you sweatIt has been finished as follows.
In addition, the surface of the fabric is water-repellent, so it can repel light rain.
(Please note that this product is not waterproof.)
This series of products is intended for low-speed city riding and going out on a bike and walking around, soA relaxed fitIt is set to.
With its casual design and light weight that makes it easy to put on, it has been made with the intention of being easy to wear as everyday wear.
Just as the speed range and usage of a motorcycle differ depending on the engine displacement, model, and construction, we believe that clothing and other apparel products also require different constructions and concepts depending on the use.
Developing a new product involves repeated hypothesis-based testing of "it might be better if we did it like this," but we always hope that this accumulation of ideas will result in products that are familiar to and loved by customers.
