Choosing gloves for midsummer

Having trouble choosing gloves for the middle of summer?

There are many different types of gloves, but I don't know what kind to use in the middle of summer. I often see gloves made of mesh material or perforated leather, but which is better? Are they cooler in the first place?

There are probably many points that can be confusing, such as the above. We would be happy if this article could be of some help to you.

Well, I know I'll just say it out of the blue, but I still recommend mesh or perforated leather gloves in the middle of summer! They let in the wind while riding, dry your sweat, and allow you to enjoy touring in a cooler, more comfortable way than three-season gloves.

So, what about ease of use and durability? Which is better, mesh gloves or punching gloves?
・Mesh gloves for those who want operability and cost performance

・For those who want peace of mind in the event of a fall and durability that can be used for many years, try perforated leather gloves.

Although it's a rough idea, I think this will be fine.

Mesh gloves are usually made of stretchy mesh fabric and synthetic leather, so they fit your hand very snugly. They are also relatively inexpensive to purchase. They are less durable than leather, so they will last about 1-3 years. Also, if they don't have a plastic slider, the material can wear out due to friction when you fall.

Leather, on the other hand, doesn't fit well in the hand when it's new, so it doesn't feel as good. However, the more you use it, the better it feels to use. It also provides a sense of security in the event of a fall, and the product life is expected to be at least 4-5 years. There are concerns that the color may transfer to your hands due to rain or sweat, or that it may develop an odor or mold, but in most cases there will be no problem if you dry it in the shade after use.

As a product planner myself, I have worn many different gloves and ridden in many different situations. I hope that these experiences will help you ride your bike in a more comfortable and stylish way.
