2017 MCFAJ CLUBMAN ROADRACE SERIES-2

 Hello, this is Harada.
The other day, on Sunday, June 18th
 I went to Fuji Speedway.
 2017 MCFAJ CLUBMAN ROADRACE SERIES-2
 LOC [LEGEND OF CLASSIC]
 HISTORIC MOTORCYCLE ROAD RACE SERIES

Members of our TRIDE RACING TEAM will be participating in the race.
 For support.

 team members
The leaders are Kubota-san and Okamoto-kun.
Final check before early morning vehicle inspection
The machine was just assembled the day before.
Although we were both suffering from lack of sleep...
 High tension

 Single-cylinder engine, handsome appearance
The cylinder fins are so beautiful
I can't help but admire it.

Record of past race participation on HF blog
 He often appears
 Okamoto-kun
 It's finally here!
This is my first time participating! !
The machine is a British car, single cylinder, 1955 model.
 BSA CB32 Goldstar 350cc
 Entry to LOC Junior A.

 Immediately before qualifying start
 At pit road
Wait for the sound of the engine start whistle.
 As always
 I get nervous watching it.

 This is before the finals
 At the starting grid.
 Okamoto-kun
 He's as casual as ever.

We are currently in the middle of the rainy season
Although the sky was cloudy since the morning,
The weather was kind of nice during qualifying.
However, just before the finals started...
 It started raining
 Wet conditions at the start.

 It has started!
 I hope you are safe.

 Seita-kun
The machine is a 1940 model.
 INDIAN SPORTS SCOUT
 On pit road before qualifying.
 As always
I am in love with the sense of unity between the rider and the machine!
 Entry to LOC PRE-1950 class.

 TRIDE RACING TEAM's racing suit
The motif was originally a vintage racing suit owned by Seita-kun.

 During the previous class race
We will wait in the paddock in front of pit road.
Dozens of entry vehicles have completed pre-race registration.
They line up in a row and fit in the cramped space.
 Naturally, the tension is high...
 LOC regular Seita-kun

cool!

 Always beside Seita-kun
Yoshi the tiger ride will support you as a pit crew.

This is a shot from qualifying run
Seita-kun entered in a different class and Okamoto-kun ran mixed race.
Each lap is 4km long, with everyone completing laps at their own pace.
I was able to fit a two-shot with my teammates within this narrow camera frame...
 The final is
While the road surface is wet
A series of falls and crashes
Red flag waved in the second half
 The race is interrupted...
 It ended just like that.
Both of us completed the race safely and returned.

 1961 TRITON-650

 Norton feather bed frame
 Equipped with separate Triumph engine
Head towards the single silencer on the right side.
The collecting pipe exhaust pipe is Spartan.

 This is Koyama-kun.
I took a break from racing for a while due to childcare leave.

Returning to racing after a long hiatus at the local Fuji Speedway.
 Entry to LOC Heavyweight A.

Who is responsible for adjusting the machine
 Old Triumph Specialist
TRIDE MOTORCYCLES This is Mr. Oishi.
Due to machine trouble that occurred during the practice run the previous day.
Take the vehicle back to the shop
The work was said to be through the night.
In the preliminaries, we fought without sleep or rest.
 Successfully cleared the problem
 Until the finals
In the warming area next to the paddock
 Cab setting, brake adjustment, etc.
 Minor adjustments are being made.

Now on to the final stage
Koyama-kun doesn't have the usual friendly nature.
 I'm in battle mode.

A two-shot of Mr. Oishi and TRIDE's ace rider Koyama-kun
 That's so cool.

 Results of qualifying run
The race will start from row 4, 10th on the grid.
We got off to a great start and overtook the vehicles in the higher classes in the mixed race from outside.

We will run fast in the top group.
It blows up on the home straight
 Triumph's high-pitched exhaust note
My body was tingling with excitement and I had goosebumps.
I improved my time by 6 seconds from qualifying.
I beat my best time by 2 seconds and won the class.
 No, Koyama-kun
 It felt good to watch!

Regular tiger riding members came to support us.
 With a kindred spirit
No special attention or being taken care of.
Sometimes it relieves the tingling feeling of riders.
Running around as a pit crew
Watching races of other classes, etc.
There is a fulfilling enjoyment that is different from that of the participating riders.
No matter when you come to the race track, you feel refreshed and the best!
