The ability of people
It's mid-November, and the best time to see autumn leaves in Tokyo is just around the corner.
Although it gets cold in the mornings and evenings, this is the best time to wear a leather jacket and not be too hot or cold.
It's personally my favorite season.
Meanwhile, I wanted a three-quarter length innerwear.
The other day, I bought a ``Koiguchi'' in Asakusa, which is dotted with long-established festival specialty stores.
I entered the store with the sole purpose of looking for carp, but my eyes were drawn to the attractive items.
We finally arrived at the Koiguchi area with hand towels and shoes in hand.
The sizes are small, medium, and large, and you can ask the female clerk.
(For some reason I've only seen women...)
When I asked her, "I'm 172 cm and 65 kg, is it a medium size?", she immediately replied, "It's large."
I've been getting a bit bigger in recent years, but I guess it's finally time to get bigger...
I was hesitating and thought, “Isn’t it a bit big?”
"If you're 175cm, it's big. Would you like to try it on?"
that?! I thought I told you earlier, but when I said, “I’m 172 cm.”
The clerk looked at me, glanced at my feet, and said, "Oh, shoes..."
I was shocked. The boots I was wearing that day had thick soles...
When I tried it on, it was the perfect size. I finished shopping and went home feeling good.
Somehow I was curious about what happened earlier, so I took out a pair of boots with normal soles and compared them.
3cm difference! ! Scary...or rather, impressed! !
When I'm making something, I look at the height of the collar and the width of the stitching.
You may notice a difference of 1 mm. Is it an occupational disease or a hunch?
In any work or daily life, don't you think there are unexpected situations like this?
However, even though you have many years of experience, can you tell someone's height just by looking at them?
Speaking of which...
Kadoya also has a pattern maker who can tell the other person's thigh circumference, chest width, etc. without even measuring it...
Maybe some of Kadoya's sales staff are just as easy as guessing someone's height?
It must be so. perhaps. surely··
On a different note, the development of AI (artificial intelligence) has been unprecedented in recent years.
What used to be a story in a movie may soon become reality...
That's very exciting, and in certain fields, I'm really looking forward to it.
On the other hand, there are some concerns...
AI is equipped with the ability to think for itself and develops on its own, unlike robots that cannot handle anything outside of its programming.
Does this mean that all of our manufacturing will be mechanized? measure and sell
Will humans no longer be needed?
I guess it's okay to measure a person's size, taking into account the height of the sole and the thickness of the clothes...
Are humans powerless then?
No, no, human power isn't like this. perhaps. surely···
